Artistic Director Oliver Lansley said

“In light of these unprecedented times we’re all being forced to look at the world through a different prism. One of the many industries that is being heavily affected by the COVID-19 Pandemic is the creative industry, as so much of what we do (and who we are as people) is about connection. We plan to use our expertise in immersive theatre to create our very first online immersive experience”

Julia Fullerton-Batten Isolation Portrait Series

During the extended phase of lockdown I was lucky enough to collaborate with Vogue Italia’s fine art photographer Julia Fullerton-Batten on a portrait for her isolation series. No contact is made and the model is shot from inside their home through their window.

Damien Frost 'virtual portrait' series

This week I participated in photographer Damien Frost’s online portrait series. He is capturing a series of performers/artists via skype and facetime and sharing them worldwide with said artists personal statement about what isolation in the current climate means to them. These will be accompanied by a sister shoot later in the year, where the performers will gather in a studio to create a hi-res image of the same look.

Here are a few of the images we created together:

The Stage's Top 50 shows of 2019!

The current production that i’m working on (Secret Cinema’s Stranger Things) has made The Stage’s Top 50 shows of 2019!

”Secret Cinema has run two excellent large-scale productions this year, but Stranger Things is especially interesting as it marks a slight change in direction for the company. As always, the set is remarkable with great attention to detail, and the pre-visit world building and cast are particularly impressive in this show. But it also marks the first TV show Secret Cinema has worked with, and a move towards creating its own unique and original screening experiences.”
